After initial installation by surveyors, the unique QCD single rockbolt mount allows the miners to take the unit down and re-install it in only a few seconds, maintaining a constant line orientation.  Horizontal and vertical tangenting.  Very rugged.  Reduced survey time, increased accuracy, smoother haulageway cross sections, lower tunnel and equipment maintenance costs, superior miner performance, and decreased ventilation costs pay for the "mine-laser" many times over each year.
